Common Migraine Food Triggers

No one knows for sure what causes migraine headaches. The most likely to answer to-date is that a serious of small irritations or reactions pile up until, finally, a migraine headache is triggered. Migraine triggers are different for each individual, but many migraineurs claim that a particular food or combination of foods will push them over the edge into a headache.

Keep in mind that most science disagrees with migraineurs when it comes to food triggers. There are no conclusive studies indicating a link between certain foods and migraine headaches, so all information is anecdotal. The thing is there is a lot, tons in fact, of anecdotal evidence for the link.

While a migraine trigger food can be, quite literally, anything, some foods come up on the trigger list for enough people to merit discussion.

Cheese

Cheese is a major trigger for many migraineurs. Particularly likely to cause an attack are hard or aged cheeses. Soft cheeses like cream cheese and new cheeses seem to be fine and unlikely to cause problems.

Processed Meats

Nitrates are believed by many to be a major migraine trigger. For most people, the most common source of nitrates is processed meat, items like hot dogs, sausage, bacon, processed lunchmeats, etc.

Condiments

Salad dressings are a trigger for many. The reason is not known, but is probably tied to a combination of other triggers all coming together in one place.

Spices and Additives

Any spice can be a trigger. Spices as triggers may be tied, at least partially, to scent sensitivity, since many spices have a pungent odor. Seasonings that seem to give migraineurs the most trouble include monosodium glutamate (MSG), common in Asian foods, artificial sweeteners, food dyes, and vinegar.

Migraineurs who suspect a food trigger should consider trying an elimination diet to pinpoint the trigger food(s).

How Do You Increase Your Intelligence?

There have been numerous debates about the different types of activities which are able of increasing the IQ. Many of them were thought to be useless, while others were labeled as highly efficient.

About mind games, people have always had different opinions: their fans say that these games have made them see things much clearer and have offered them a simple and pleasant way of increasing their IQ, while those disliking these activities strongly affirm that there is no connection between mind games and improving the intelligence.

However, it seems like mind games fans are right: mind games do affect the brain in a positive way. In fact, everything that puts your brain to work steadily and gives it obstacles which it has to overcome has a positive influence upon the human brain.

This is mainly because the more you put your brain to work, the more its capacity will increase. Thus, new challenges, such as finding different strategies to defeat your enemy in a chess game or planning your moves in advance in a computer strategy game, have the role of expanding your intelligence and increasing your IQ.

The most efficient mind games which can increase your intellectual abilities are Sudoku, crosswords and other similar word games, chess, computer strategy games, riddles and puzzles. These games are efficient because they force you to think differently and find more than one solution to a problem. This kind of approach will force your brain into working continuously, thus increasing its power of focus and its capacity of learning.

In order to make this type of brain training efficient, it is highly important that you do not cheat, but rather try out until you reach the correct result. Thus, even though the higher levels may be more difficult, you should try and solve them without using any hints.

Only this way will your brain be able to work more, and thus increase its intelligence. Perseverance is the key of learning, but is also the key to an extended intellectual capacity, so do your best and remain focus even when things are not going well, because this is the time when your brain leans new things.

If you want to know more about the way in which mind games affect your intelligence, but also discover methods through which you can improve your IQ, click here for more information now.

3 Smart Ways to Enable Success in Your Business

It doesn't matter how large or small your company may be, the keys to success are largely the same.

Understanding how to create a productive environment that is conducive to both individual and group success is paramount if you want to take your business to the next level. Here are three essential ways that you can enable greater success on a daily basis:
1. (Wisely) Delegate. Giving tasks to others in your organization before they (or you) are ready will only spell disaster. In order to delegate properly, you must first be certain that the person you choose is ready to take on the task. If possible, have him or her shadow you while you perform the duties in question, or make up a checklist that can be followed. Once you are satisfied that the job can be done the right way, let go of the reins and step back - but be prepared to give corrections and praise as necessary.
2. Train, Train, and Retrain. New technology flourishes every day. So too are sales and marketing evolving with the event of social media. Be prepared to have your key people at the forefront of the latest innovations that can help your company.
That's not to say that you need to chase every new idea out there, but by being familiar with what's on the horizon, you can be ready to incorporate it into your latest success.
3. Find the Opportunities in Every Challenge. Don't treat adversity like a setback. Every new challenge is an opportunity for both learning, and potential success. If you find yourself stuck on a particular problem, consider a brainstorming session with your top people - often, a fresh perspective is all that's needed to bring clarity to an otherwise impossible task.
If these three tips seem simple, it's because they are. The key to success isn't a great mystery. Instead, it's about great motivation and the ability to follow through. But even so, understanding how all the pieces fit together can be a daunting task.
That's where Personal Mastery Techniques comes in. In this audio course, you'll learn the ins and outs of what makes a successful plan in both business and personal relationships. Caffeine and Its Impact Upon Increasing the IQ

Green tea, black tea and coffee have been long known as energy boosters. They were used in order to revitalize the body and mind when they were giving signs of tiredness. Nowadays, many people rely on these energy increasers to give them power to make it through the day.

The day of a modern person starts with a large cup of coffee, while during the day, at least one cup of black or green tea are drank to maintain the level of energy as high as possible.

Also, the recent history has also come up with numerous energetic drinks and sodas which are very rich in caffeine and which are highly popular among people who want to increase their brain power or muscular strength for a limited period of time.

The miraculous ingredient which makes all these drinks highly effective in fighting sleep and tiredness and boosting the energy is caffeine. People heavily rely on it for solving all their tasks in a limited period of time and with minimum physical effort. It has become as used as all the other basic foods and drinks.
The reason for which caffeine is so effective is that it affects the release of adenosine, the chemical substance meant to announce the body when it is time to sleep. Without this chemical or when its presence in the body is significantly reduced, the body does not feel the need to sleep, thus prolonging its state of alert.
Also, because caffeine fully oxygenizes the brain and reduces the flow of blood which reaches the heart, the brain gets more and more active and energetic, which leads to an increased intellectual activity. This is the reason for which most people signal a higher power of leaning and greater intellectual capacity after consuming a cup of drink containing this wonder-ingredient.
Yet, in addition to firing up the neurons and increasing the intellectual abilities for a limited period of time, the drinks containing caffeine also give the individual a state of well-being. This state is caused by the dopamine, the same substance which is responsible for creating addiction.
Thus, if you drink caffeine drinks on a regular basis and you feel like you lose your focus when you do not have a cup of coffee in the morning, you should know that the only one to blame for that is the dopamine.

A Healthy Lifestyle Is the Key to Maintaining and Increasing Your IQ

For many people a healthy lifestyle means a longer life without any diseases, a fitter body, a slimmer silhouette and a skin with no imperfections. Yet, there is another benefit of a healthy lifestyle: an increased intellectual capacity.

Constant physical movement and a balanced diet can make wonders for your brain. This is mainly because the amount of movement your make each and every day and the foods you ingest have a great importance on the way in which your brain functions. Let’s take each of these two factors separately and see how they can affect the intellectual capacity of a human being.

First, the physical movement is highly effective in boosting one’s intelligence as it increases the amount of oxygen which reaches the brain. In presence of oxygen, the brain works more effectively, thus having better results when having to deal with stress and fatigue. Also, exercises are highly effective in distressing the brain and relaxing it.
This means that your brain will be able to focus on more important things once it has been freed from all the stress and problems. This will further enhance its ability of acquiring information fast and easy and will make it work at a more rapid speed, when needed. Yet, in order to benefit from these effects of the hysical exercises, they will have to be done daily, at least 20 or 30 minutes.
The diet is also highly important, as fatty foods, foods containing preservatives and chemical colorants and foods containing high amounts of sugar can be very damaging for the brain. They stop the further development of the brain and can also lead to a regression in the intellectual capacities.
This means that your brain will not function as well as it used to and instead of progressing and acquiring new information, it will lose precious notions and useful information.
In order to avoid such things, it is absolutely necessary to alternate a healthy diet with physical movement. Not only will you obtain a healthy and attractive body, which will be envied by all those who see you, but you will also preserve your brain in good function and increase your IQ significantly.
If you want to know more about the way in which movement and diet can affect your brain and see which are the ingredients which boost your intelligence read… There you will find a complete guide which will help increase your IQ in a simple and natural way. The Day That Turned My Life Around

The day was a most beautiful one. A perfect day for the challenge at hand. I was feeling terrific and confident too. I knew this was what I must do. I didn't get a lot of encouragement. I was ready for the jump anyway.

What a view! It was better than I ever expected it would be. Ah! The feeling of perfect freedom was so exhilarating. That confident feeling now swelled in my chest even more than before. I was getting closer & closer to my target now. I was sure everyone would eventually accept my decision to take on this challenging experience.

It wasn't long before I had my feet solidly planted on the ground. The applause was unbelievable. I had reached my target. I was confident my decision would eventually enhance my life dramatically. I had finally reached a goal I had planned for a long time.

Did you really think I made a parachute jump? No I didn't. This was some part of a 5-minute speech I made at the National Convention of the Dale Carnegie Organization several years ago. I don't know if it were the exact words or not. But it is the best I can remember.

The speech was an analogy of my decision to leave the family florist business and pursue a sales career. All the words I used and the incidents I described were very realistic to the challenging decision I made. I really believe I left the audience mesmerized. The emotions I expressed were very convincing. I did explain in the final minute of the speech what it was all about however.

But the day turned out a little disappointing. I lost the contest. My speech went over the time limit by 2-3 seconds. It was the agreement of the judges I only lost because I went over the time limit. I was so emotionally involved in that speech that I didn't pay enough attention to my wife and a couple of other people giving me time signs from the back of the room.

I did learn a valuable lesson that day and it was this. Defeat is very disappointing but it's never permanent. I try to spread those words to anyone who’s ever had any disappointment in life. I encourage them to not give up. I tell them if they will just hang on and keep at it sooner or later success will come their way.

In the years that followed I did win some local and regional speech awards but I never got the chance to enter another national contest. I did become a graduate assistant with the Dale Carnegie organization eventually. I was required to present sample speeches to the new members of the course each week. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed working with the instructor.

I eventually joined ten National Speakers Association with the goal to become a professional speaker. I did get some contracts for speeches and made some money from them. However I never realized my big dream. But I think I finally found my niche in life when I became a sales supervisor training a team of salesmen. This was one of the most exciting and profitable times of my life. It was gratifying to see how I was able to help them develop profitable territories.

I believe you have to come to realize that your life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. It's been my experience that being persistent. Then having a strong passion to achieve your goals and initiating a well devised plan daily. That eventually you will create your ideal lifestyle. Just go for it and see if that's not true. Reaching Your Potential in Life Takes Persistence and Dedication - Are You There Yet?

Reaching your potential in life takes persistence and dedication. Has it been a difficult road for you to travel?

Even though you might have been born with the talents to achieve your goals; even if you grew up in a well-to-do family; graduated with a high degree in college; or achieved some rewards or recognition from some organization; there is no guarantee you will reach your full potential until you understand fully what your full potential really is.

In case you didn’t know it each one of us has potential lying deep inside of us. Our potential is usually unique to us. It’s a mix of our genetics, our environment, the way our body has been designed and the talents we were born with.

The real problem we don’t always know what that potential really is. Sometimes others could be helpful in helping us discover it, a parent, a teacher or a new acquaintance we can stay in contact with.

Still for some, it’s a struggle to identify. The reasons for this can be far reaching. For instance as a child you may have had a strong inkling of a goal you wanted to reach. But somewhere along the line someone may have discouraged your desires.

Then there is the problem of circumstances. If you are struggling to pay your bills and you have a family to support, you may not have the resources to develop your potential at this time and you become discouraged.

Whatever brought you to the point for not reaching you full potential yet is no excuse. Because every time you have struggled or become stressed out and never found your passion, there is someone who has learned how to do it. So you just need to know how they did it.

But no matter what your potential is whether it’s a physical issue, financial or environmental limitations you and everyone else has one very important asset in common and that’s your mind.

Your mind can be helpful in teaching you how to reach your goals. You have the key to unlock what ever your mind holds. Just tap into it and discover what amazing results it can provide to help you reach the potential that might be buried deep inside of you.

Here’s a program that can lead you to the methods you need to apply to make your potential a reality. Click here for more information now.

How to Live Your Best Life and Enjoy the Rewards

Wouldn’t it be great to know how to live your best life and enjoy the rewards? You know what? You can for sure. Now it isn’t going to happen without some effort on your part.
Not only that but it isn’t going to happen overnight either. It will take persistence and planning. You must also learn how to handle the challenges that are going to happen on your way to creating your best life.
First of all you will need to know what you consider the best life to live for yourself. Is it a more secure financial life? Better relationships with people? Better health conditions for yourself or others? More leisure time doing the things you have never been unable to do? Extensive travel to all parts of the world? You have to decide what are the most important things you want to happen in your life.
Then after that you need to spell out your desires in very descriptive details and dwell on them on a daily basis so you get excited about them. Record them in some kind of a planner or journal where you can view them everyday.
Once you have decided on the goals you want then you must be determined to reach them. Having any doubt about not achieving them will destroy your desires.
Another thing that is especially helpful in setting your goals is you must establish the reasons how to live your best life and how you expect to enjoy the rewards.
You must establish why the rewards of achievement are worth all the effort you are generating to make them a reality. Unless your expectations are high it is not likely you will achieve your goals.
Now to really super charge your dreams and desires it’s a good idea to have a support system that will keep you motivated on a regular basis.
This support system can be in the form of motivational materials like books or CD’s that reveal such things as stories of people who have reached their pinnacle of success and what they did to make it happen. Here's a support system that will fill all your needs. Learn more here.
Now if you are fortunate enough to have friends and or/relatives that support you in your endeavors to become successful, that is a real plus for you. Listen to their views and ideas and what you must do to make your dreams come true.
Here’s a stern warning you want to careful of. And that is to ignore any comments from anyone who may discourage you from reaching the level of success that you desperately want. These people are known as “dream destroyers.”
Be kind to them but don’t spend too much time with them. They are not always your best friend. However they might be later once you are successful.
